BOXPLUS INTRODUCTION In 2011, after working as a saleswoman in an injection factory for 3 years, Jenna Guo and her partner decided to found a company selling waterproof outdoor dry box. They made their own design and needed to custom molds, then Jenna quit the job and spent more than 2 months in the tooling factory to learn the details of every step of tooling. Dry box is a small market segment though, sales went okay but the development of the company stagnated. Giving birth of child in 2013, Jenna slowed down and devoted herself into taking care of the baby for 3 years, during this time the partner went abroad for further development. To make the company lasted, something had to be done. The soon the kid went to kindergarten, Jenna started to get prepared for the MBA exams with the purpose of formally learning how to run a company. Thanks to the book “THE POWER OF HABIT”, Jenna passed the exam very efficiently and got the scholarship without going to any training institutes. In 2017, the study got started, and it brought her tremendous helpful thoughts and ideas in management, marketing, finance, economic environment etc. “What else can I sell?” “How to manage the sales team?”, gradually, part of the answers to these questions were found. Benefiting from Cigar Caddy travel cigar case, the waterproof box for taking cigar out, working with her team, Jenna made many new designs for this cigar out-taking scenarios in the coming years. With the increasing sales of smoking kit, the factory was founded in 2020 to better satisfy the quality and delivery requests. To maintain the normal running of the factory needed more products, what else? Waterproof Hard cases, Pelican is the most famous brand that was well known for a long while in this industry, it has high quality products produced from well-made molds, without doubt at higher cost. So, we could make alternatives at lower cost. Next on, elaborated hard case for red wine and whiskey etc. were developed out, followed by small hard valuable gifts packaging box……. One step, then another, we will do more and offer better service to our valuable customers, the story goes on!
